Redmond Clay For Acne

Redmond clay has been called a miracle in skin and acne treatment by some.  It is harvested in Southern Utah, and it has been harvested by a family under the name of Bosshardt since the 1960’s.  they use it to treat bee stings, upset stomachs, pull out toxins, and it apparently has a cooling and cleansing effect on the skin.  It uses bentonite, which is how it manages to actually pull toxins out of the body in the first place.  Bentonite has negatively charged ions while apparently those found in the body are positively charged.

It has been long used to treat skin infections like acne, to prevent infection or scarring, and it has been used for centuries apparently in traditional medicine.  Redmond clay apparently works to actively shrink pores while also helping you to soothe the skin and body and it has been used in masks for general spa therapy along with other specific endeavors.  It has various different properties, and various individuals are now recognizing it for various other things.  Time will tell, but it seems that the popularity of this particular ingredient is only growing over time as users discover new and more useful and helpful applications to their generalized needs.
